Sandro Frinolli Puzzilli

The Artist

Who is Sandro Frinolli Puzzilli

Following a steadily evolving artistic journey, Sandro Frinolli Puzzilli uses painting to infuse new creative energy into his passion for art—a journey that began with photography, continued through digital art, and ultimately found its fullest expression in painting.

In his pictorial projects, he uses colour to convey personal visual emotions. He arranges forms, sometimes defining them clearly and at other times merely suggesting them, developing a cognitive reordering aimed at achieving a deeper contemplation of the surrounding world. The artist’s exploration of language and expression, together with his compelling narrative drive, leads us into a world where nature serves only as inspiration—a starting point from which to express something beyond itself. His paintings become the synthesis of a reflection, the exploration of a point of view, and the representation of a carefully examined fragment of reality. On the threshold of lyrical abstraction, dreamlike scenes evoke poetic compositions populated by figures who move lightly, beyond time and history.

Throughout his artistic career, Sandro Frinolli Puzzilli has received numerous awards and honours. His works have been exhibited internationally in Paris at the Louvre Museum, as well as in New York, London, Moscow, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin, Stockholm, Monaco, Brussels, Strasbourg and Ithaca. In Italy, his works have been shown in Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, Turin, Bologna, Genoa, Palermo, Sanremo, Modena, Padua, Udine, Vicenza, Amalfi, Pavia, Ascoli Piceno, Cremona, Latina, Pordenone, Tivoli and Gubbio.
