Sandro Frinolli P. exhibits at the Studio Elle Gallery in Vicenza
On Saturday 8 October 2022, the Giornata del Contemporaneo returns, the great event promoted by AMACI Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums and created with the support of the General Direction for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, and the collaboration of the Directorate General for Public Diplomacy and Cultural of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
On the occasion of the 18th Contemporary Day at the Galleria Studio Elle in Vicenza from 8 to 15 October 2022, Sandro Frinolli Puzzilli will exhibit three paintings by him: "Red Enigma", "Amazonia" and "Purple Landscape", paintings made with acrylic colors on canvas.
During the presentation, the artist describes his works:
"My paintings arise from the need to tell the spectacles of nature that I encounter during my travels, thus combining my two great passions: art and nature.
These three works have a central point of view to the scene because I found this position easier to read for a complete narrative. I made them with acrylic colors on canvas using spatulas for the large backgrounds and brushes for the details. These paintings have predominantly monochrome shades because I wanted to highlight the perceived atmosphere through color, considering monochrome a perfect descriptive synthesis of the mood experienced in those places at that time and season.
The water element amplifies by reflecting what is around it, becoming an unequivocal code of interpretation and at the same time providing added value to the aesthetic and expressive structure of the paintings. I deliberately did not include the presence of human beings in these paintings, not only because they are not present in the scenes encountered, but above all to preserve the purity of the places without the human contamination that is causing so much damage to the environment ".
