Critical motivation for the awarding of the prize to the artist Sandro Frinolli Puzzilli
Awarded works: “I'm waiting for you” and “The first snow”
The pictorial art of our Roman artist Sandro Frinolli Puzzilli is described with good compositional synthesis and the right degree of symbolic interpretation.
Sandro Frinolli Puzzilli's art comes to life from his primary creative instinct, photography, subsequently filtered and developed pictorially.
His compositions are artistically conceived, associating dreams and fleeting memories, highlighting that particular emotional atmosphere, of silent reverberations of a muffled naturalistic chromatic symphony.
The landscape that we find in his works is often recurring in Sandro Frinolli Puzzilli's pictorial theme, dreams and symbolic landscapes, created with excellent formal interpretation, graphically expressed with a significant rhythm in the perspective of the work, where we discover his perceptible emotional state, which allows him to give the work that evocative light, derived from his imagination
